What are the dimensions of your engineered flooring?
The thickness of our engineered flooring is 17.5 mm. The length ranges from 500 mm to 2950 mm (20” to 10’), and the width ranges from approximately 100 mm to 450 mm (4” to 17.7”). The overall weight is up to 13 kg/m².
What are the key components of your engineered flooring?
Our engineered flooring consists of a 5.5 mm wear layer of premium hardwood and a 12 mm core layer made of Baltic birch plywood, resulting in a total thickness of 17.5 mm. This composition ensures both durability and technical stability.

We use natural hard wax oils to enhance the wood’s natural beauty and achieve the desired colors. These oils penetrate deeply into the wood, providing a durable finish that highlights its unique characteristics.
How are tone samples provided?
Physical tone samples are available at no cost, but transportation arrangements are managed by you. We recommend using DHL or FedEx for shipping.
What is the process for placing an order?
After submitting your initial order form from the COLLECTION section of our website, we will reach out to you using the provided contact details to clarify any necessary details. Once everything is finalized and approved, a 50% advance payment is required to secure your order’s position in the production queue.
Is it possible to have my order ready by a certain date?
Yes, you can specify a desired delivery date. A 10% down payment allows you to lock in the future price and schedule your delivery. To place your order in the production queue, a further 40% advance payment is required. The remaining 50% is due before the finish leaves our factory.
How do you calculate the amount of parquet needed for an order?
We calculate the amount of parquet needed by adding a 3% reserve to the square meterage indicated in your drawing. This reserve includes a minimum of +5cm in each direction, excluding starting walls or lines. For complex layouts with many angles, we increase this minimum to +15cm. This approach helps to prevent delays caused by shortages on site.
How is your flooring packaged for delivery?
Our finishes are meticulously stacked in plywood boxes, with 2mm foam film on each new layer to protect against scratches and moisture. Each box rests on a sturdy pallet and is fully wrapped in durable film, providing added protection from precipitation and moisture.
What are the delivery options for your products?
You may organise transport yourself or leave it up to us. We offer land, rail, sea, and air delivery depending on the destination. We will provide the best quote once we have the delivery address.
What should I do if I need to store the flooring before installation?
Avoid storing the flooring in the open for extended periods. Instead, store it indoors or under roof conditions with temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
What are the options for installing the floor?
You can choose to have the parquet installed by our experienced professionals, who have over 20 years of expertise. Alternatively, you may use local craftsmen or handle the installation yourself with the detailed instructions we provide.
How should the surfaces be prepared for parquet installation?
Whether plywood, wood, or concrete, all surfaces should be flat, smooth, and free from varnishes or paints. For freshly laid concrete surfaces, a special primer may be needed to regulate moisture levels.
Can the flooring be installed over underfloor heating?
Yes, it can be installed over underfloor heating. However, it is essential to ensure that the temperature control system keeps the temperature in the system from exceeding 28°C.
Can the parquet be installed in a kitchen area?
Yes, it can be installed in a kitchen. However, be aware that falling objects may cause indentations on the parquet surface, and spills from colored liquids should be cleaned up immediately to prevent staining.
Is it advisable to install parquet in a bathroom?
No, it is not advisable. Bathrooms typically have humidity levels that exceed what is recommended for wooden flooring.
When transitioning between flooring and tiles, which should be installed first?
It is generally advisable to install the tiles first. Tiling is often a heavier and messier job, so completing it before installing other flooring materials helps prevent damage to your new floor. Once the tiles are in place and properly set, you can then install the other flooring up to the edge of the tiles, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
What type of adhesive is recommended for parquet installation?
We recommend using PU-based adhesives for wide boards due to their superior adhesion and durability. These are available from local parquet suppliers, and we can include them with your order upon request.
What should I do if my parquet gets damaged during assembly?
If damage occurs during assembly, we can dispatch a remanufactured board within two days via DHL Express or FedEx. We also maintain records of production files for future replacements.
How should the parquet be maintained?
Clean the parquet regularly to prevent damage from dirt and hard particles. Use OSMO’s specialised cleaners to avoid damage from harsh chemicals.
How often should the flooring be refinished?
To maintain its original appeal, it is advised to refinish the surface every 10 years. This ensures that the flooring retains its luster and beauty over time.
